BARNES & NOBLE eREADER vs
AMAZON KINDLE eBOOK READER
Amazon has dominated the eBook field for years with its Kindle reading device but recently Barnes & Noble, this country's largest brick-and-mortar bookstore, has jumped in to give Amazon some competition. Barnes & Noble has recently introduced its free eReader for reading downloadable eBooks to be viewed on Apple's iPhone and iPod Touch, BlackBerry smartphones and most Windows and Mac computers. B&N has also announced that it has partnered with the maker of Plastic Logic eReader, which is expected to release a Kindle competitor by 2010.
The competition is on but in the meantime, if you just can't wait for a hard copy of your favorite true crime, mystery or thriller take a look at what Amazon and Barnes & Noble have to offer.
